Askell Brimson was a Doctor. He came to rescue Dorian Gray when he was stranded in Iceland. He worked out that Dorian had known evil. He told Dorian about the legend of a werewolves and lycanthropes, and how he researched them. He was one himself and warned Dorian to escape before he was eaten. He bit Dorian and infected him.
