The Man Upstairs rang Dorian Gray from suite 1309 in the hotel that Dorian stayed at on Christmas 2015. He had Isadora Rigby in his possession. He was a manifestation of Lucifer. He wanted to offer Dorian his soul back only if he helped him escape the hotel. He was the one who resurrected Tobias Matthews and placed Dorian's soul in him, and inhabited him scaring Dorian.
