There Are Such Things… is the second story in The Lost Confessions, a set of The Confessions of Dorian Gray scripts that went previously unmade and have been turned into prose audiobooks.
Synopsis[]
England, 1930. Father Victor Merriman is confused when a bedraggled young man locks him inside his own church on a dark and stormy night. The man claims not to be locking them in, but rather to be locking something out: something that has haunted Dorian Gray for over a year now, ever since the engagement of Milly Lloyd.
Cast[]
- Dorian Gray, Victor Merriman, Amelia "Milly" Lloyd, Charles Stern - Alexander Vlahos
Notes[]
- Dorian has only known Amelia for at least 18 months in 1929, suggesting they met in either 1927 or early 1928.
- Unlike the previously released story, this story doesn't directly conflict with the Confessions timeline. While there is an overlap with His Dying Breath, that story taking place in the autumn of 1929 and this having flashback to that year while being set in 1930, they don't conflict and invalidate this story, meaning it can be treated as being canon.
