Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are a race of creatures that can transform from normal into humanoid wolf like creatures.

Overview[]

History & Culture[]

The history and origin of werewolves is unknown. It is known that werewolves are a pack like species that live in relatively isolated communities, such as in Iceland, where they are free to live their lives and hunt without exposing themselves to humans. It would appear that werewolves might be native to Iceland, or at least immigrated to the country many generations ago.

While they don't hate humans or seem to believe they are better than them, it appears that most werewolves youths enjoy frightening them and the majority of werewolves, aware of the dangers of being exposed, are distrustful towards outsiders. They also don't seem to feel any guilt about killing humans.

Biology, Abilities & Weaknesses[]

When in human form, there's seemingly no way to tell a werewolf apart from a regular humans and have no special abilities. When transformed they apparently resemble humanoid wolves, gaining increased physical abilities and senses that makes them deadly predators. They are able to transform at will and when doing so are in complete control of their actions, though during the full moon they are forced to transform and become mindless beasts.

The myth of needing to silver to kill werewolves is just a story and it's confirmed that regular bullets are able to kill werewolves. If fatally wounded while transformed, a werewolf will return to their human form before dying. The curse is also passed on through a human being bitten by a werewolf in their transformed state.
